Jason joined Byrne Asset Management in 2019 and serves as Head of Equities.
Jason began his career as an investment banker at Peter J. Solomon Company (now Solomon Partners) and Gleacher Partners where he focused on Mergers & Acquisition and Financial Restructuring Transactions. He was also a private equity investor with Lazard Capital Partners.
Jason was a Senior Analyst at Long/Short Hedge Fund Pierce Street Capital, focused on equities, distressed debt and special situations. Subsequently, he became a Senior Analyst/Portfolio Manager at Long/Short Hedge Fund OSS Capital Management, focusing primarily on equity investments.
More recently, Jason was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at MD Sass, where he focused on managing equities for a range of institutional clients.
Jason enjoys travelling, sports and spending time with his wife and four children.
